ARE
YOU INTERESTED IN JOINING SYAC? (follow these easy
steps)
1: Read all the info on the web site: Groups,
practices, pool, etc.
2: TRYOUT- come to the pool deck any Wednesday at
4:30. Talk with one of the coaches and they will have you
swim for them to determine your swim group. Not only do we
have a great comp team, but we have a stellar developmental
group. We offer a great experience for the swimmer that is
just learning but wants to be part of a team year
round.
3: Try us out for a week. Comp swimming is
different than Country Club or Swim to Win. It will take a
couple of practices to get used to it, but don't give up. Once you
get used to the practices, you will really see the
improvement.
4: After you decide to join, and we know you will,
then go to the START REGISTRATION in the upper left corner of the
SYAC HOME PAGE. Fees are required via credit card at the time
of registration.
5: Once we receive your information we will send
you an email with your user id, and password to the web site.
Enter the site and make sure your information is
correct.
6: SIGN UP FOR AUTO PAY: Preferred method of
payment is via our auto pay system. All your fees are tracked
and billed once a month. We strongly suggest that you choose
the ACH method of autopay. As we are a non-profit group, the
least costly method is ACH withdrawal, at .$75 per transaction,
while the fee for credit card use is 3% of the bill. In order
to pay these fees we are required to do fundraising, so please opt
for the ACH method if you can.
7: Check the Web Site Often: All meets,
activities and events are posted to the web site. To sign up
for a meet you must do so online via the web site. The
members information and all times are tracked in the web
site.
8: HAVE FUN: Swim team is a wonderful
activity to develop new friends, life fitness skills and good
organizational skills and discipline.
