Our club is a USA year round competitive and developmental
swim team offering high quality professional coaching and
technique instruction for all ages and abilities. Our coaches
strive to provide the highest quality instruction so that swimmers
may reach their individual aquatic goals.
Excellent and individualized coaching is one aspect of our team
that sets us apart : your swimmer is coached at practices, at all
meets and even at State Championships. If you are looking for
an environment for your swimmer to thrive and truly improve, then
SYAC is for you.
What can you expect: if you are just beginning your swimming
career, then you will be part of our growing developmental group,
attending meets, learning all your strokes and having a lot of fun
with your swim mates. As you get better you will begin
earning state times and moving toward competitions held in other
states. Once you are consistently making all your state
times, you begin to work towards regional meets such as Western
Zones, Sectionals and Junior
Nationals.
While the emphasis is on improving technique, race strategy,
conditioning, and other important elements leading to improved
times, we seek to make the program well-rounded so that swimmers
may enjoy and benefit from the full swimming experience.
Beyond individual achievement, we offer an environment of
team spirit, sportsmanship, friendship, and fun.
All of our coaches, are members of the American Swim Coaches
Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and
certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United
States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in
swimming will be quality time.
The Steiner Youth Aquatic Club, a non profit club, is run by
its elected Board of Directors (Parent Volunteers) which
meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and
encouraged to be involved in team activities and
fundraisers.
We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a
well rounded competitive swim team. Thank you for joining us. We
are looking forward to meeting you. Please feel free to
ask another member or coach any question you may
have.
